Saving a Life in the Land of Mammoths and Sabretooth Tigers 🐾

This rescue took place right next to the La Brea Tar Pits - a place where Mammoths and Sabretooth Tigers lived 40,000 to 11,000 years ago.

The nights are getting cold, homeless kittens crawl into engines for warmth, and before they know it, they are on dangerous rides on the freeway! Luckily, little Mammoth survived the trip, but getting him out of the engine was tricky.

Our supporters helped us purchase these amazing new traps that trick almost all the cats and kittens out there because the traps make them all believe they can escape them.

After I got Mammoth to CARES and bathed him, he asked me if he could meet Paddington, the dog Loreta Frankoynte and I adopted. I told him I could arrange that, and Paddington was happy to come over and play in our new filming room. You can also see them on Paddington's page: https://www.instagram.com/xoxopaddington

Later this evening, my dear friend and Board of Directors member of Hope For Paws (and Oscar Winner), Jaime Ray Newman (in the red dress), will spin the Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. She will try to win some rescue money for Hope For Paws, and I can't wait to see how this turns out.

You probably know Jaime from the recent show The Hunting Wives that aired on Netflix a couple of months ago, and the competitors tonight are all from the show. The show will air tonight (October 17) on ABC 8/7c and will stream on Hulu.

I hope you will enjoy the show and keep your fingers crossed for us.

Thank you!
