Another senior dog abandoned and left to fed for himself... πΆπ
As I worked on this video yesterday, I got a call about a woman who passed away and left 10 cats behind without a solid plan. Well, she did have a plan to leave the cats to her friend, but when her friend passed away, she didn't update her will, and now the family doesn't know what to do.
I am working with a friend of mine to figure it out to make sure they are all safe (they are all being fed and taken care as the family is trying to figure out if she had an alternative wish they are not currently aware of).
In this case, the family is kind and doesn't want the cats to end up at the shelter, but this is not always the case, and many times, pets are just thrown out like yesterday's trash.
It's almost 2026, and if you don't have a plan for your pets, please take care of it this weekend. Hope For Paws partnered with FreeWill so people who watch our videos can create their own Wills / Living Trusts FOR FREE here: https://plannedgiving.HopeForPaws.org - It is critical to have a backup plan as well because situations do change (as in the case above).
π
Please tackle this New Year's Resolution EARLY to ensure the safety of your pets. If you need our assistance or would like Hope For Paws to be the backup plan (or the main plan) for your pets, please email us, and I'll be happy to give you a call and help you with that.

Fiyero from the video above was lucky that someone knew to call Hope For Paws for help, and Katie did a great job securing him. Our friends at L.A. Animal Rescue are now fostering him, so if you would like to give this happy boy a loving forever home just in time for the holidays, please contact them here: https://www.LAAnimalRescue.org
If you missed the video of Winnie and Marcel, please watch it too. π
Thank you so much for joining us with your generosity on #GivingTuesday and for helping us get the full match so we could save and change more lives.
Have a great weekend!
