Makita

Rescued By: Hope For Paws

A sweet and peaceful companion Makita’s story is still being written…but we know that it will have a beautiful ending! Our friends at @hopeforpawsrescue got a call about a severely matted dog that wads found at a @homedepot so they jumped to get the dog. She was a hot mess! Estimated to be 8yo, this 11lb little lady has been through some rough times! Thankfully her past did not break her spirit. She came to us today where she will start her heart medication and learn the comforts of being part of a family. She has a heart murmur, so after she’s stable (2 weeks), she will finish her vetting (spay/mass removal, dental) and then she will be able to go to a new forever home. We’re so overwhelmed with dogs right now! If you’re looking to foster, please email or dm us. We can try to match you up with the right foster. We take this fostering thing very seriously. Application, home check and references required. We need help but we also are going to trust you to care for a dog/puppy that we are responsible for. We also can provide references- past and current fosters. Our goal is to make it a positive experience for everyone involved. 👊🏼❤️🐾
