Lil’ Pongo (Fenton)

Rescued By: Hope For Paws

🐾 Meet Lil Pongo Lil Pongo is a sweet, bashful 2-year-old Lab mix weighing about 22 pounds, with a big heart just waiting to fully open. He’s affectionate, loyal, and just a little clingy in the best possible way. Once he feels safe, he forms a deep bond and becomes the most devoted companion you could ask for. Pongo is a well-mannered boy who is potty trained, a great eater, and does well on walks. He also gets along nicely with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a calm, confident canine friend to help show him the ropes. Because of his sensitive nature, Pongo can be skittish around new people—especially men and cautious with quick movements. He’ll need a patient, understanding home that will give him the time and space to build confidence at his own pace. With gentle reassurance and consistency, he continues to come out of his shell more each day. Once he trusts you, Pongo’s loving personality truly shines. He’ll happily stay close by your side, soaking up affection and offering quiet companionship in return. 💛 If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal dog to form a deep and meaningful bond with, Lil Pongo could be your perfect match.
