Bocelli

Rescued By: Hope For Paws

Meet Bocelli! ❤️

Bocelli’s story is one of resilience and heart. This 7-year-old, 14.5 lb. terrier mix was rescued by Hope For Paws from the streets of Los Angeles after he was found dodging cars and narrowly avoiding being hit. It was an especially dangerous situation because Bocelli is completely blind. After his rescue, he arrived at CARES, where we quickly discovered what an absolute gem he is.

Being blind doesn’t slow Bocelli down! His other senses are incredible, and he confidently navigates his surroundings without bumping into things. On his regular walks, he remembers exactly where the steps and turns are and loves stopping to sniff the trees and greenery along the way.

But Bocelli’s greatest talent might be finding his humans. 👀💘 He adores people and is an affectionate little shadow who will happily follow you from room to room. Bathroom break? He’s coming. Kitchen snack? He’s coming. Couch cuddle? He was probably already there. This goofy little guy is a professional snuggler who is happiest when he’s close to the people he loves.

Bocelli also loves other dogs and is always eager to play. He’s fully potty trained, never barks, and is an incredibly easy little guy to care for. He’s in great health.

We think Bocelli would thrive in a calm home, ideally with a yard and perhaps a friendly dog or two to keep him company. He may not be able to see you, but trust us, he’ll still find you. 💕 If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, devoted companion who will listen a little closer, love a little deeper, and stick by you a little tighter, Bocelli might be your perfect match.
