Bocelli
Rescued By: Hope For Paws
Meet Bocelli Bocelli’s story is one of resilience and heart. He was rescued by Hope For Paws from the streets of Los Angeles after being found dodging cars and narrowly avoiding being hit—an especially urgent situation since Bocelli is completely blind. After arriving at CARES, we took over his care and discovered what an absolute gem he is. Bocelli is a 7-year-old terrier mix weighing about 14.5 pounds. Aside from needing to be neutered, he is in great health. Though he is fully blind, his other senses are incredible—he confidently navigates his environment and doesn’t bump into things. On routine walks, he remembers exactly where steps and turns are and loves sniffing trees and greenery along the way. This goofy little guy is extremely loving and friendly. He adores cuddling, follows his person from room to room, and is happiest being close to his humans. Bocelli also loves other dogs and is always eager to play, making him a great companion for a home with canine friends. He is fully potty trained, never barks, and is very easy to care for. We think Bocelli would thrive in a calm home, ideally with a yard and possibly another friendly dog or two. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, and devoted companion who has so much love to give, Bocelli might be your perfect match.
