Project Manager

As a Project Manager, Alex provides strategic and operational management of Hope For Paws marketing and communication efforts. When Alex is not talking to donors, she's helping optimize daily functions in the office or checking in with our hospital to learn more about the animals under our care. Alex joined HFP with more than 6 years in customer service. She most recently worked alongside an industry leading data-driven platform where she coordinated and assisted in managing over 15 million dollars in comprehensive marketing campaigns. Along the way she led efforts in campaign stewardship and digital marketing for agencies housed in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be a part of the HFP team. I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri in a family that always had rescue dogs around and National Geographic playing in the background. Am I the only one who still wants to be Bindi Irwin when they grow up?

I started volunteering at rescue organizations around the same time kids were finding their niche in sports, or fashion- and as it turns out- most of my best friends have been dogs! I learned early on how powerful the interaction between human and animals is. Companion animals provide a relationship so special, it helps transform the way we learn about empathy and communicate our emotions. I even wrote my thesis on the matter!

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy gardening, watching Love Island UK, and giving nose boops to as many animals as possible. My pack of three rescues, 2 dogs- Hazel Jane & Sprinkles- and a 3-legged cat named Birdie, consists of 11 paws in total. My happy place is listening to ocean waves while kayaking with my smallest rescue, Sprinkles. I’m a huge nerd at heart and introverted when there isn’t an animal around. I'm definitely the person at the party playing with your dog.

One of my favorite HFP videos is the crazy rescue where Eldad burrows himself 18 feet into the earth to pull out 9 puppies. I’m still on the edge of my seat every time I watch this!
