Homeless Labrador mom tried to trick us, but we found all her puppies!
September 03, 2019 - Eldad Hagar

A protective mom or dad can be very dangerous - we just needed the whole team to make this rescue look easy 😍

We received an urgent call about three homeless dogs living under the bushes on the side of a highway embankment. One of the dogs was pregnant, but when we arrived we found she had recently given birth to a beautiful litter of puppies. The newborn puppies were being guarded by all three dogs and as we approached they were nervous and started barking. A few cheeseburgers helped us gain their trust and you'll have to watch the video to see how this dangerous rescue unfolded.

Amazon, Hudson, Nile, Trinity, Lena, Seine, Tigris, and Yukon were all fostered by our friends at Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue and they are ALL ADOPTED ALREADY!!! I am sure the next litter of puppies is coming up soon, if you would like to adopt a dog or puppy please check our list of dogs available for adoption. Every dog that finds a loving home helps our rescue partners save another animal.

Bear was also adopted by our friends at The Little Red Dog, and the only one looking for his forever home is Juniper (he is also with TLRD).

Please share this story with your family and friends.

Thanks!
